Of note:

• Additional ability score points earnable by doing work on your character
• Goblins, hobgoblins, and orcs are the same race, just different sub-species.
• The Power of Fear - the horrors and darklords have an insidious ally in the despair inducing power of fear

Some ideas on Bhaum...

It seems that Bhaum may be following the same type of path that Conan took in the first movie, where he starts out evil, doing what needs to be done for survival because of where he is/was and the environment he is in (minus the breeding part). Now, with his friends and Illustra, he is tearing away from the brutal past and moving towards a more "normal" focus of neutrality and protecting his friends and interests instead of being the evil bastard that he would still be in his homelands. It would be a pity to see Illustra ganked by "Thulsa Doom" to drive Bhaum on a quest for revenge/redemption, but it would be an interesting hook. I just don't see Bhaum remaining "evil" for the sake of an alignment. Brutal? Sure, but becoming softer when it comes to companions and the surroundings. I doubt he would ever be "good" except in the eyes of Illustra or some other interest in the future.

For the time begin, I though of other things he can be doing while the city is being re-built. He can be training the men in combat and arms and picking out the exceptional men for special posts (promotions to unit leadership or royal guards) on behalf of Alexis.
